A final rallying call is going out to people to help promote 10 ways to mental wellbeing ahead of World Mental Health Day.
Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, which provides mental health and learning disability services across Sussex and Hampshire, is behind the campaign on 10 October.
Hundreds of people and local organisations have already signed up to simultaneously tweet a mental health message at 10am on 10 October promoting 10 ways to wellbeing. And it's not too late for you to get involved too joining organisations including Southern Rail, Sussex Cricket and Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
We will also be launching a rap video about 10 ways to wellbeing, written and performed by our talented student nurse Kuda-Kwashé and recorded by filmmaker John Richardson.
The 10 ways to wellbeing include maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including diet, sleep and exercise, structuring your day with things you can realistically achieve and using the skills you already have, and have used in the past, to deal with stress.
What do I need to do?
At 10.00am on Saturday 10 October, it would be great if you could join us in posting/scheduling the message below on Twitter and on other social media. The link in the message will take people to our campaign website where they will be able to watch our #Ten4Ten wellbeing rap video.
Here's the message for you to post…
Be kind to yourself, look after your mental health. See the #Ten4Ten rap video from @withoutstigma (launched today!) which has 10 tips to help you do this. https://ten4ten.sussexpartnership.nhs.uk/ Please help spread the word on #WMHD2020 @Sussex_HCP.
