Our 2020 Vision is to provide outstanding care and treatment you can be confident in. We developed our five year strategy to achieve this in 2015.
Since then, we’ve had positive feedback from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and have also developed our clinical strategy which describes the changes we believe will help us provide the best care for patients, families and carers.
Looking ahead, we need to think about our role in delivering the NHS 10 year plan, and we need your help to do this.
People are living longer. The NHS is treating more people with long-term conditions. Our services and staff are under pressure. So we think it’s time to take stock, review our priorities and refresh our organisational strategy.
Sam Allen, Chief Executive for Sussex Partnership, said: “Collaboration is, quite rightly, an important theme of the recently published NHS Long Term Plan. This is about our relationship with the people who use our services and their families, our staff and other organisations we work with in partnership across the health and social care system. We want to give everyone a voice in shaping our vision for the future. This will help us deliver the best possible care and treatment to the patients, families and local communities we serve.
“You do not need to have used mental health services to attend one of the engagement events. Everyone’s views count and your ideas and feedback will help us to create and plan for the future of our services.”
We’d really appreciate your involvement in helping to do this by coming along to one of our engagement events. If you can't make it to an event you will be able to send us your feedback online.
