Available Monday to Friday 5pm to 9am, and 24 hours at weekends and Bank Holidays in East Sussex and Brighton and Hove. Available 24 hours, seven days a week in West Sussex.

The Sussex Mental Healthline is a telephone service offering support and information to anyone experiencing mental health problems including stress, anxiety and depression. The service is also available to carers and healthcare professionals. You do not need an appointment.
- We are a service available to anyone concerned about their own mental health or that of a relative or friend.
- We provide support for people experiencing distress. Please note this is a limted service, if you are in urgent need of help see urgent help in a crsis.
The Sussex Mental Healthline is changing
Important changes are coming to the Sussex Mental Healthline.
From spring 2020 callers will dial 111 and ask for the Sussex Mental Healthline. The same service will be available but you will be able to access urgent help and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, no matter where you are in Sussex. We're also expanding the team to include registered mental health professionals.
We'll let you know exactly when the change will happen nearer the time, but don't worry, the existing number - 0300 5000 101 - will continue to work, you'll be automatically diverted to 111.
