We believe that people with learning disabilities have the same rights as all members of society and that’s why we place the people who use our services at the heart of what we do. We'll work with you and your families or carers to develop the right care and treatment needs for you while you are in our care and when you leave our service.
Therapy area
We provide talking therapies, communication skills, and daily living skills. We have several areas where sessions will take place, allowing you to choose areas you feel most comfortable in. These include multi-purpose, quiet and sensory rooms, as well as communal areas.
Arts and creative sessions
Group and individual sessions are provided throughout the week and focus on daily living skills.
Physical health and wellbeing programme
Full health assessments are given by our nursing staff and supported by our local GP service. Individual and group sessions are carried out to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle. Youwill leave the unit with a comprehensive health assessment and action plan.
