Child and Adolescent Mental Health Permanency Service

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Permanency Service (CHAMPS) support the mental health, emotional wellbeing and safety of children up to the age of 18 who are open to children’s social care, and identified as having outcomes which could be improved by targeted specialist psychological intervention. This will include looked after, special guardianship, edge of care children, children in need, their families/carers and the professional networks around them.
