Council of Governors meetings

Meetings of the Council of Governors are held in public starting at 10am, any exceptions to this will be listed in the papers below. Future meetings for the coming year will take place as follows;

In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) the Government has advised on social distancing measures we should all be taking to reduce social interaction between people in order to reduce the transmission of COVID-19. As a result the Trust has made the decision to hold its Council of Governors meetings virtually until further notice.

Public Health England (PHE) is leading the national COVID-19 response and providing messaging and advice to the public. You can read the latest Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England advice here. The agenda and papers will be available to download below.

Annual General Meeting
The Trust's Annual General Meeting will take place on 16th August 2021 from 13:30-14:00. Members of the public are welcome to join this meeting, using the details below. The agenda and papers for this meeting will be published below ahead of the meeting. 

Annual Members' Meeting: The Trust's Annual Members' Meeting will take place on 15th September 2021 from 10.00-12.00. Foundation trust members and members of the public are welcome to join this meeting; for further information and details on how to register your place click here.

Papers for each Council meeting will be available on this page; you may print them off or a limited number of copies will be available at the meeting. We do not send out copies in advance. 

If you wish to attend a Council meeting and require support such as interpreting or require the papers in other formats, please contact Rebecca Holden on 0300 304 2070 or rebecca.holden@sussexpartnership.nhs.uk    

Members of the public will be given the opportunity to ask questions, but may not take part in the Council discussion. Normally the Chair will ask members of the public about these at the beginning of the public meeting, so that they can be picked up by directors at the relevant time. Any questions must be based on the agenda items. We ask that members of the public notify the trust in advance about a question they might like to ask, so that any necessary enquiries can be made in order to enable a full answer to be given. In the event that the question cannot be answered at the meeting it may need to be deferred to the next meeting or provided to the member of the public in correspondence.
