The PC has commissioned Ottaway Strategic Management Ltd to undertake the Health Needs Assessment, which is due to be completed by Autumn 2024. Ottaway Strategic Management Ltd has extensive experience in completing Needs Assessments for local authorities, NHS England and in justice settings, and of working with a range of stakeholders, including service users, parents and carers.

The assessment will include interviews and surveys with stakeholders ranging from professionals to service users. This will help to build the PC's understanding of service provision and ensure it is equitable and representative of the local populations, is achieving value for money and avoids duplication of work.

It will also inform commissioning plans as well as strategic priorities for the PC, and system planning to ensure the standards of health services for adults with eating disorders across the region are effective and of good quality.
