Electric Vehicle Charging Policy
SPFT has made a commitment to reduce its direct organisational greenhouse gas emissions associated with travel by 57% by 2025/26 (against a 2015/16 baseline). There is a further goal to operate a 100% fully electric operational fleet by 2025/26, in order to achieve these targets, the Trust has invested in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure to support the charging needs of its fleet.
The primary role of the Trusts electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure is to support a fully electric operational fleet of Trust owned/leased vehicles. In doing so we hope to act as an anchor institution and demonstrate best practice to serve as a role model in our community and the wider healthcare system.
