Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Policy
Domestic abuse and sexual violence is commonplace in society, and is even more prevalent among people who have experiences of mental ill-health. Domestic abuse and sexual violence are also known to have an impact on mental well-being. This policy is designed to provide a framework for staff to identify, and respond to, domestic abuse and sexual violence in an effective and supportive way that promotes safety and empowers those who experience it, as well as enabling staff to hold perpetrators accountable for their actions. This policy applies to all Trust services.
