How our Trust is run
We're an NHS Foundation Trust which means we've got more freedom to shape our services to meet the needs of our local community.
You can get involved and have a say over how we're run by becoming a member or a governor.
The regulator of NHS Foundation Trusts, NHS England, makes sure we are well-led so our patients receive quality care. The Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care, regularly inspects our services to make sure they're safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
Our Board of Directors sets our strategic aims and objectives and monitors our performance. Our elected Council of Governors, which includes patients, carers, staff and members, holds the Board to account and provides a direct link to our local community.
